Carbon Fiber Composite (CFC)
Our advanced CFC is a high strength carbon material that is ideal for the heat-treat industry. CFC is favored for its high resistance to heat and chemical corrosion while remaining dimensionally stable in temperatures over 2000*C. High strength, low weight, and excellent heat resistance make it one of the most advanced engineering materials on the market with a wide range of structural capabilities.
CFC Angles are used as structural components to protect the leading edge of hot zone insulation packages as well as preventing insulation damage. This material can be easily cut to size with a chop saw or abrasive wheel. We offer a variety of custom sizes and thicknesses.
